Over the past decade the Impala has not exactly been thought of as the most stylish automobile. However, it’s a solid car at a solid price and it may surprise you to know that it was the best selling full-size sedan in 2011. Fast forward to 2014 and Chevy is changing tack with the new generation of Impala introduced at the 2012 New York Auto Show. We didn’t think anyone could combine the styling from a Malibu, Volt, and Camaro with a dash of Audi A7, but here it is. Apparently, the details are just as good as its looks.

Ford thought Chevrolet’s Super Bowl Commercial has gone too far and has asked for it to not air. Chevrolet won’t be bullied and says “The Silverado ad will run…”

The rumor mill swirled during this year’s North American International Auto Show two weeks ago. After the GMC display sat completely silent during the two day onslaught of automaker press conferences, journalists began to wonder. If the brand wasn’t announcing a new vehicle in Detroit, would it choose to unveil something in Chicago instead? As press days came to an end in Detroit, GMC Communications Manager Joseph LaMuraglia tweeted “Make sure you plan to attend the Chicago Auto Show to see the new GMC Acadia.” We figure this is a good idea and will take Mr. LaMuraglia up on his suggestion.
